3、 How to choose a suitable hydrogen generator?
When choosing a hydrogen generator, it is recommended to focus on the following core parameters:
Purity: This is the primary indicator. For precision analysis such as gas chromatography (GC), hydrogen purity is usually required to be ≥ 99.999%.
Flow rate: Calculated based on the peak gas consumption of downstream equipment (such as one or more GCs), and it is recommended to reserve a margin of 20% -30% to meet future expansion needs.
Pressure: Confirm whether the equipment can provide and stabilize within the required working pressure range. For example, supplying gas to GC typically requires a stable output capacity of 0-0.4MPa.
Safety features: Hydrogen is flammable and explosive, so safety is of utmost importance. It is necessary to choose equipment with multiple safety protection functions, such as overvoltage protection, leakage detection alarm, anti backfire device, automatic shutdown, etc. Some advanced models have achieved sound and light alarm and automatic cut-off, ensuring that hydrogen is produced and used immediately, with extremely low accumulation in the system.
