1. Working principle of high-temperature pH meter
The working principle of a high-temperature pH meter is similar to that of a conventional pH meter, which calculates the pH value by measuring the concentration of hydrogen ions in the solution. The core part of a pH meter is the pH electrode (sensor), which usually consists of a glass electrode, a reference electrode, and a temperature sensor.
PH electrode: made of special glass material, it can react with hydrogen ions in solution to generate an electrical signal proportional to the pH value of the solution.
Temperature sensor: Temperature changes can affect the measurement of pH value, so high-temperature pH meters are usually equipped with temperature compensation function to automatically adjust the pH measurement results of the solution to adapt to temperature changes.
2. Characteristics of High Temperature pH Meter
Compared with ordinary pH meters, high-temperature pH meters have some design features:
High temperature resistant sensor: The electrode material and structure of the high-temperature pH meter are specially designed to withstand high temperatures, typically working at temperatures of 100 ° C or even higher. The electrodes of a high-temperature pH meter can withstand temperatures up to 200 ° C.
Temperature compensation function: High temperature pH meters are usually equipped with temperature sensors that can monitor solution temperature in real time and automatically perform temperature compensation to ensure accurate measurement of pH values at different temperatures.
