1 HCS878AHigh purity metal infrared carbon sulfur analyzerGas path diagram:
2、 Metal filter mesh (pore size less than 0.5 microns):
Due toHigh purity metal infrared carbon sulfur analyzerThe method of burning samples to release carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide inevitably generates dust. So, reducing the generation of dust and preventing dust from entering the detection system is crucial. Due to the fact that gas is released into the atmosphere during the analysis process of high-frequency infrared carbon sulfur analyzer, metal filters are particularly important. If the filter aperture is large, dust will enter the pores in the filter wall to change the gas flow rate, and also enter the gas path and detection pool. Some dust will adhere to the detection pool and filter, pollute and corrode the detection pool and filter, making the measurement results inaccurate. The rest is discharged into the air with the carrier gas (usually oxygen), polluting the environment. These dust particles are complex in composition, with the majority being heavy metal oxide dust. To filter out oxide dust, the pore size of the filter must be less than 1 micron. The use of this metal filter (with a pore size less than 0.5 microns) can effectively filter the dust generated by combustion. Ensure that the instrument is not contaminated and the results are accurate and reliable. This product is used for XRCS-7 series and HCS878 series high-frequency infrared carbon and sulfur analyzers, without clogging or cleaning.

The following two images are metal filter screens currently used by other manufacturers (with a pore size greater than or equal to 5 microns, requiring a secondary filter with a pore size greater than 5 microns). Before each sample, it is necessary to saturate the waste sample three times. The dust less than 5 microns generated in the natural process will also enter the detection pool and affect the detection results, and then be discharged into the air with the carrier gas, polluting the environment and affecting our health (because most of the dust generated by burning samples are heavy metal oxide dust).
