-Working principle:

The TU5 series online turbidity detector emits laser light into the sample and measures the scattered light generated by suspended particles in the sample. Scattered light at a 90 ° angle to the incident beam passes through a conical mirror and surrounds the sample 360 °, thus being detected by a transmitted light detector.

The intensity of scattered light is directly proportional to the suspended particles in the water sample. If the sample contains tiny suspended particles, only a small amount of scattered light will be detected by the detector of the laser turbidity meter, resulting in a lower turbidity value. On the contrary, large suspended particles will form strong scattered light, resulting in higher turbidity values.
