2、 Application Fields
This device can be widely used in cloud observation and research, aviation and navigation meteorological support, military meteorological support, and shadow rocket rain enhancement operations.
3、 Working principle
According to the principle of laser ranging, the device emits periodic laser pulses into the atmosphere from the laser transmitter. The laser receiver receives the backscatter signals from the cloud layer and atmosphere, and the processor collects and processes the received signals. After inversion, the extinction coefficients of the atmosphere at different heights are obtained to determine the cloud layer and calculate the cloud base height value.
