1. Security system

The filters used have poor adsorption effects on hydrogen, helium, inert gases, methane, ethane, ethylene oxide, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitric oxide, propylene, acetylene, organic phosphorus compounds, mercury, hydrogen cyanide, radioactive isotopes, etc. Generally speaking, the adsorption effect on gases with a molecular weight less than 36 is not good, and it is not recommended to use such fume hoods. In addition, such fume hoods cannot be used for experiments involving high volatile chemicals, high smoke emissions, strong acid-base, flammable, explosive, and highly toxic substances.
