3Structure and working principle

3.1structure

501The vibrating wire type seam gauge consists of front and rear end sockets, protective tubes, signal transmission cables, vibrating wires, and excitation electromagnetic coils.


3.2working principle

When the measured structure undergoes deformation, it will drive the joint gauge to change, which will be transmitted to the vibrating wire through the front and rear end seats to generate stress changes, thereby changing the vibration frequency of the vibrating wire. The electromagnetic coil excites the vibrating string and measures its vibration frequency. The frequency signal is transmitted to the reading device through the cable to measure the deformation of the measured structure. Simultaneously measure the temperature values of the buried points synchronously.

4.1Installation of attachments

Firstly, check if the seam gauge is intact and connect the instrument to the reading deviceHold the instrument at both ends with your hands, pull or press it towards both ends, and check if the reading on the reading instrument is normal.After confirming that the seam gauge is intact, willprotectRemove the cylinder,Prepare to install protectiontubeAccording to the design requirements, determine the burial elevation and orientation on the inner side of the working joint template for design positioning(The side where the work joint is poured first)Install the protective tube cover securely, and then screw the protective tube and front end seat onto the protective tube cover. The installation of accessories must be secure to prevent protection during concrete pouring and formwork removalTube movementPosition. After confirming that the installation is complete, concrete can be poured and compacted.

4.2Installation and burial of seam gauges

After demoulding, unscrew the protective tube cover on the outside of the work joint and use the corresponding seam gauge according to the design number(The cable has been extended and the rear seat has been screwed on)Carefully tighten it onto the front seat(Tighten it by hand)Adjust the burial zero point of the seam gauge. Bury and fix the cables according to the design direction, and lead them out in a centralized manner.

4.3Precautions

After the installation and positioning of the seam gauge, the initial value of the instrument should be measured in a timely manner, and records should be made and archived according to the instrument number and design number. The lead out cable of the instrument should be strictly protected.
