1、 Overview of HQ-LUXZ series intelligent spiral vortex gas flowmeter
The HQ-LUXZ series intelligent vortex gas flowmeter adopts advanced microprocessing technology, which has the advantages of strong functionality, wide flow range, simple operation and maintenance, and easy installation and use. Its main technical indicators have reached the advanced level of similar foreign products. It can be widely used for measuring various gases in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, coal, etc.

2、 Structure and working principle of HQ-LUXZ series intelligent vortex gas flowmeter
1. Flow meter structure (see Figure 1)

2. Working principle of flowmeter (see Figure 2)
When the fluid passes through a spiral vortex generator, it is forced to vigorously rotate around the center of the vortex generator, forming a vortex flow. The vortex flow accelerates, passes through the contraction section along the flow direction, and the flow intensity increases. When the vortex enters the diffusion section, it undergoes a secondary rotation under the action of the backflow of the guiding fluid, and the frequency of the secondary vortex is proportional to the flow rate. When the flowmeter is designed, the vortex frequency is linearly related to the flow rate over a wide range of flow rates. This frequency is detected by a piezoelectric sensor and processed by a flow integrator. Display the instantaneous flow rate and cumulative total amount of flow, and transmit the corresponding 4-20mA current signal for output.
3. Working principle of flow integrator (see Figure 3)
The principle block diagram of the flow integrator is shown in Figure 3. The CPU receives the pulse signal from the preamplifier and the pressure and temperature signal obtained through the A/D converter, and finally calculates the instantaneous flow rate, cumulative flow rate, temperature, and pressure values. Meanwhile, display these parameters on the LCD. The flow display can display both standard flow and non standard flow. The three function keys on the instrument panel,<SET>key,<INC>key, and<SHT>key, can be used to set internal parameters.

3. Installation of flow meter
(1) Flow meters should be installed according to the flow direction markings.
(2) The flowmeter can be installed horizontally, vertically, or tilted at any angle.
(3) The requirements for the upstream and downstream straight pipe sections are shown in Figure 5.
(4) Unless the tested medium contains larger particles or longer fibrous impurities, it is generally not necessary to install a filter.
(5) There should be no strong external magnetic field interference or strong mechanical vibration around the flow.
(6) The flowmeter must be reliably grounded.
5、 Selection of HQ-LUXZ series intelligent spiral vortex gas flowmeter
1. When selecting, users should reasonably choose the model and specifications of the flowmeter based on the nominal pressure of the pipeline, the maximum pressure of the medium, the temperature of the medium, the composition of the medium, the flow range, and the signal output requirements.
2. In order to maximize the performance of the flow meter, it is suitable to use it within the range of 20% to 80% of the maximum flow rate.
3. The standard output configuration of the flowmeter at the factory is to have a working condition pulse signal output (three wire system). If other output functions are required, please specify when placing an order.
