The main features of the Hastelloy Index Tester
It is an instrument used to determine the grindability of bituminous coal and anthracite coal. The measuring principle of the Hastelloy apparatus is based on the grinding law (that is, the energy consumed by grinding coal powder is proportional to the new surface area generated by coal powder). Under the conditions specified in GB2565 "Method for Determining the Grindability Index of Coal" (Hardgrove Method), the prepared coal sample is ground, screened, and weighed. The Hastelloy Grindability Index is obtained from the calibration chart drawn from the standard coal sample. The larger the index, the easier it is to grind. The measurement results of this instrument can accurately reflect the difficulty level of coal grinding, providing a basis for the design and operation of coal mills. The machine has multiple functions, including mechanical bowl feeding, microcomputer counting, automatic shutdown when the counter displays 60 revolutions per minute, emergency stop in case of host failure, and accumulation of revolutions per minute when restarted. This instrument has passed the ministerial level technical appraisal. Widely used in industries such as coal, electricity, metallurgy, and chemical engineering.
