HFP01-L Soil Heat Flux PlateUse a thermoelectric stack to measure the temperature gradient across the sensor board. Working in a passive manner, the sensor generates a small output voltage proportional to the temperature difference. Assuming that the heat flux is stable, the thermal conductivity of the sensor body is constant, and the influence of the sensor on the heat flow pattern can be ignored, then the signal of HFP01 is directly proportional to the local heat flux.HFP01-L Soil Heat Flux PlateTo output millivolt signals and convert them into heat flux, it is necessary to divide them by the calibration constant of the sensor.
