Usually, damage to high-temperature melt pressure sensors is caused by improper installation positions. If the sensor is forcibly installed in a small or irregularly shaped hole, it may cause damage to the sensor's diaphragm due to impact. Choosing a suitable tool to process the installation hole is beneficial for controlling the size of the installation hole. In addition, appropriate installation torque is beneficial for forming a good seal. However, if the installation torque is too high, it is easy to cause the high-temperature melt pressure sensor to slip off. To prevent this phenomenon, anti stripping compounds are usually applied to the threaded part of the sensor before installation.
1. Correct installation method for HYDAC pressure sensor:
(1) Verify the frequency response value of the pressure sensor under normal atmospheric pressure and standard temperature conditions using appropriate instruments.
(2) Verify the correctness of the coding of the pressure sensor and the corresponding frequency response signal.
2. Determine the specific installation location
In order to determine the number and specific installation position of the pressure sensor, it is necessary to consider each inflation section of the inflation net.
(1) The pressure sensor must be installed along the cable, preferably at the cable joint.
(2) Each cable should be equipped with no less than 4 pressure sensors, and the two pressure sensors near the telephone office should be no more than 200m apart.
(3) Install one at the beginning and one at the end of each cable.
(4) Each cable should have one branch point installed. If two branch points are close together (less than 100 meters), only one can be installed.
(5) One cable should be installed at the location where the cable laying method (overhead, underground) changes
(6) For cables without branches, due to the consistent cable program of the base line, the installation spacing of pressure sensors should not be more than 500m, and the total number should not be less than 4.
(7) In order to facilitate the determination of the fault point of the pressure sensor, in addition to installing the pressure sensor at the starting point, an additional one needs to be installed at a distance of 150-200m from the starting point. Of course, in the design, economic and technical factors must be considered. If the pressure sensor does not need to be installed, it should not be installed.
Inspection dimensions of HYDAC pressure sensor
If the size of the installation hole is not appropriate, the threaded part of the high-temperature melt pressure sensor is easily worn during installation, which not only affects the sealing performance of the equipment, but also prevents the sensor from fully functioning and may even pose safety hazards. Only suitable installation holes can avoid thread wear (Thread Industry Standard 1/2-20UNF2B), and installation hole measuring instruments can usually be used to detect installation holes and make appropriate adjustments.
If the measurement purpose of HYDAC pressure sensor is qualitative analysis, a sensor with high repeatability accuracy should be selected, and one with high measurement accuracy should not be used; If it is necessary to obtain measurement values for quantitative analysis, sensors with accuracy levels that meet the requirements must be selected.
For certain special usage scenarios where suitable sensors cannot be selected, sensors need to be designed and manufactured independently. The performance of homemade sensors should meet the requirements for use.
