GROVE GEAR Gear was founded in 1947 and has become the largest manufacturer of standard and customized worm gear reducers in the United States, with over 100000 installations. GROVE GEAR Gear was acquired in 1981 by Rich Boluoit Company, a manufacturer of electromechanical motion control products. Today, gear products are produced in the Wisconsin Alliance and sold through the Leeson Electric * sales office. The GROVE GEAR gear product line includes GR series and NH series worm gear reducers. This new production line will include worm gear reducers made of cast iron and premium BISSC certified stainless steel worm gear reducers. Today's GROVE GEAR gears are more than just worm gear reducers. GROVE GEAR gears can also be installed in the universal version with high-efficiency transmission devices, including straight insertion spiral, spiral bevel gears, spiral worms, and parallel axis reducers.
