High frequency impact treatment (HiFIT), as a convenient and stable welding structure strengthening method, belongs to the high-frequency mechanical impact (HFMI) post weld treatment method. Its core is to locally optimize the key areas of the welded joint. This process can not only adjust the front geometry of the weld seam, but also generate high local compressive stress at key locations where cracks are prone to occur, thereby optimizing the fatigue strength of the welded structure.
During HiFIT processing, steel undergoes material hardening through cold working, which further enhances the material's resistance to crack initiation and helps extend the service life of the treated structure.

The HFM 21R1-S is an upgraded iteration of the HFM 12P1 model, which has been in use in the international market for over fourteen years and has accumulated rich application experience.
The new HFM 21R1-S HiFIT equipment adopts a structural decoupling design, effectively reducing the vibration amplitude at the handle. When the operator guides the equipment along the weld seam, they can obtain a more comfortable operating experience. The device handle adopts ergonomic design, and auxiliary handles are added on both sides of the hammer shaft to further improve operation convenience. The acceleration value at the handle can reach 3.9 m/s ².
The pin of the device can still be replaced without tools, and a new locking device has been added to effectively prevent accidental loosening of the pin, balancing the convenience and safety of operation.
Based on the requirements for device size in practical application scenarios, the overall length of HFM 21R1-S has been shortened from 288 millimeters to 225 millimeters, making it easier to operate in small spaces. In addition, the corner heads equipped with the equipment are compatible with both HFM 12P1 and HFM 21R1-S models, and can reach difficult to handle parts in the welded structure.
The adjustment unit at the end of the hammering mechanism is used to set the impact strength. The equipment is equipped with 10 levels of scale markings, and the operator can intuitively read the preset impact strength parameters for precise adjustment.
