Balance head for flange or spindle installation


The mechanical balance system used for detecting, balancing, and compensating for imbalances consists of a balance head, high-precision acceleration sensor, and electronic module. According to the design of the balance head, acoustic emission sensors can be integrated. Therefore, due to modular design, the system can be easily expanded through acoustic emission modules. This further optimizes the overall performance.


Balance head ST

Hydraulic balance system H6000

AE Fluid Sensor:


The AE signal will be sent in the opposite direction of the flowing liquid jet from the machine's coolant system (coolant or cutting oil emulsion). By electrically and acoustically isolating the AE fluid sensor from the machine tool, we managed to suppress the background noise of the machine tool.


Rotating AE sensor


The non-contact AE sensor M - and the complimentary sensor M - are provided, for example, for installation on the form roller or contour roller, and can be installed directly on the center grinding wheel or dressing wheel. The simple assembly and measurement on the rotating axis can provide the best signal-to-noise ratio, which goes without saying.


For installation in the dressing or grinding spindle, a miniature M-sensor would be the correct solution. This sensor can simultaneously monitor the dressing and grinding process, and we pick up the signal directly where they occur.


The customized AE ring sensor can be installed on a chuck, on a grinding wheel shaft, or on a dressing spindle. Using high-speed ring sensors - for internal grinding and trimming systems, signals can be obtained at higher RPMs.

The AE signal of S6000 will be visualized through the optical LED of a WINDOWS based machine. Sensitron6 is a new type of AE evaluation electronic device that can help monitor and stabilize complex grinding processes. High performance grinding process monitoring and control electronic devices are easily integrated into machine control, where they evaluate signals detected by highly sensitive AE sensors.

Sensitron6 reliably detects the initial contact between the grinding tool and the workpiece, detects sparks, and automatically changes the feed rate to reduce idle grinding time without compromising quality. People can choose sensors and evaluate electronic devices manually through buttons or automatically through machine control. The AE signal is displayed on the LED bar chart (with 30 scales). P3SE


P3SE is a grinding machine monitoring system based on acoustic emission sensor technology. This system can meet and solve different needs, including continuous inspection of processes, inspection of gap elimination completion, wheel dressing, and collision prevention. P3SE can be used as a sliding solution or with a casing. There are two physical channels and four logical channels used for evaluation.


AE4100


The 4100 series is very suitable for visualizing and monitoring the grinding process on grinders that do not have their own monitors equipped with machine control devices. The use of acoustic emission systems enables users to optimize grinding and dressing processes, reduce air grinding, and monitor collisions between grinding wheels and workpieces. The entire 4100 series is controlled through a menu (in 5 languages) and displayed on a glowing monochrome LCD monitor. Evaluate the data provided by high-sensitivity acoustic emission sensors for electronic devices. Up to 31 envelopes and their related parameters can be saved.


The use of this system helps optimize grinding and finishing processes and reduce air grinding volume. The device is controlled through a menu displayed on a glowing monochrome LCD monitor. The dynamic threshold can be evaluated using an additional envelope monitoring module.


The additional envelope module inside AE4100-1E dynamically monitors the process by measuring and evaluating the output voltage of sensors over time. Any value above or below the predefined envelope will send an error message to the machine control.

The automatic grinding or finishing process must operate safely and stably, and produce a consistent level of workpiece quality. The process monitoring based on high-sensitivity acoustic emission sensors combined with AE6000 evaluation units is an ideal solution to improve process stability.
