German Baode BURKERT ultrasonic flowmeter
It has 5 models to choose from: QN 0.6 DN 15, QN 1.5 DN 15, QN 2.5 DN 20, QN 3.5 DN 25, QN 6.0 DN 25, with a flow range of 0.06 l/m to 20 l/min (nominal flow 0.6 m3/h, i.e. 10 l/min), 0.1 to 50 l/min (nominal flow 1.5 m3/h, i.e. 25 l/min), 0.16 to 82 l/min (rated flow 2.5 m3/h, i.e. 41 l/min), 0.6 to 116 l/min (rated flow 3.5 m3/h, i.e. 58 l/min), or 1 to 200 l/min (rated flow 6.0 m3/h, i.e. 100 l/min). Each model is equipped with pulse output or pulse output and 4-20 mA current output. The electrical connection is made through a 5-pole M12 plug. By combining devices with controllers and control valves, control circuits can be created.
Ultrasonic flowmeter operating based on Time of Flight (TOF) principle
Dynamic area ≥ 1:250
Minimum pressure loss
No need for calming parts at the entrance or exit
German Baode BURKERT ultrasonic flowmeter
Product Overview
This flowmeter consists of an electronic module and a brass connector with a built-in measuring tube, suitable for measuring micro polluted water flow and can be used to establish a control circuit. The electrical connection is a 5-pin M12 plug.
flow range
The measurement range is 0.16 to 82l/min, with a rated flow rate of 2.5m ³/h (i.e. 41l/min).
Product features
The ultrasonic flowmeter using transmission time measurement method has the characteristics of adjustable ratio ≥ 1:250, low pressure drop, no inlet and/or outlet straight pipe section requirements, etc.
Technical Specifications
In terms of accuracy, the measurement deviation flow rate is ≤ (0.01% of full scale+2% of measured value), and the repeatability is ≤ 1%. The medium temperature ranges from 5 ℃ to 90 ℃, the ambient temperature ranges from 5 ℃ to 55 ℃, and the maximum medium pressure is PN16. In terms of material, the shell and cover are made of PA/silicone rubber, and the wetted parts are made of brass/PES/EPDM. The power supply is 12V to 36V DC, with a current consumption of<4mA (no load) and<1A (with load). In terms of scale, the K coefficient of the pulse (transistor) output is 200 pulses per liter, the current output is 4mA corresponding to the Qmin of the flow range, and 20mA corresponding to the Qmax of the flow range
Appearance and installation inspection
-Check the appearance of the equipment: Regularly inspect the casing and transducer of the flowmeter to ensure that there is no damage, cracks, corrosion, or deformation.
-Check the connecting components: Confirm whether the connection between the transducer and the pipeline, cable joints, etc. are firm, and whether there is any looseness, detachment, or rusting due to moisture.
-Check the condition of the pipeline: Observe whether there are leaks, wear, deformation, and other issues in the pipeline where the flowmeter is installed, and check whether there are any new obstacles or interference sources around the pipeline.
cleaning work
-Cleaning the transducer: Regularly clean the surface of the transducer with a soft damp cloth or specialized cleaning tool to remove dirt, sediment, and attachments, avoiding scratching with sharp objects.
-Cleaning the interior of the pipeline: Regularly clean the interior of the pipeline according to the fluid properties and pipeline usage to prevent scaling and sedimentation from affecting measurement accuracy.
Performance testing and calibration
-Check measurement data: Check the measurement data daily to observe whether it is stable, reasonable, and whether there are any abnormal fluctuations or significant deviations.
-Performance testing: Generally every six months or one year, a standard flow source or other calibration equipment is used to perform performance testing on the flowmeter, checking measurement accuracy, linearity, and other indicators.
-Calibration equipment: Based on performance test results, if necessary, professional personnel or qualified institutions shall calibrate the flowmeter.
Environmental and operating condition inspection
-Monitoring environmental parameters: Pay attention to the temperature, humidity, electromagnetic interference and other parameters of the installation environment to ensure that they are within the allowable working range of the equipment.
-Check fluid characteristics: Understand whether the composition, density, viscosity, sediment content, and other characteristics of the measured fluid have changed. If there are significant changes, it may be necessary to reset or calibrate the flow meter parameters.
Software and system maintenance
-Update software version: Pay attention to the software update information released by the manufacturer in a timely manner, and update the control system software according to the operating instructions.
-Check system settings: Regularly check measurement units, alarm thresholds, communication parameters, and other system settings parameters to ensure they are set correctly
