Coal powder is transported by air and sent to the furnace for combustion through burners installed on the furnace wall. The gas temperature at the center of the flame reaches 1500-1600 ℃. The evaporation heating surface of the boiler is installed on the inner wall of the furnace, forming a water-cooled wall that absorbs the radiation heat from the high-temperature flames and flue gas inside the furnace, reducing the outlet flue gas temperature to 1000-1150 ℃. Several rows of slag discharge condensation pipes are formed at the upper part of the water-cooled wall on the rear wall (at the inlet of the horizontal flue), and the slag discharge pipes are arranged very thin to prevent slagging. In order to prevent ash or slagging on the heating surface of the boiler, a soot blower is also used.

The superheater is located in the horizontal flue. Its function is to heat the saturated steam in the steam drum into superheated steam at a certain temperature, in order to improve the economy of the power plant. After passing through the superheater, the temperature of the flue gas drops to 500-600 ℃ and then enters the tail flue. One of the heating surfaces in the tail flue is the economizer. It is composed of many serpentine tubes with flat heads * head * head * head * head * head * head * first. Its function is to preheat the feedwater before entering the steam drum and reduce the exhaust temperature. The other tail heating surface is the air preheater. Its function is to heat the air to a certain temperature before it enters the furnace, thereby improving combustion, further reducing exhaust gas temperature, and improving boiler efficiency
