Calibration method for TotalPerm gas permeameter
1) After obtaining the standard film from the manufacturer, conduct a visual inspection on the sample. Ensure that there are no wrinkles, creases, pinholes, contamination, or other issues with the standard film;
2) Conduct the test according to the manufacturer's specified test conditions. For specific testing steps of the TotalPerm gas permeameter, please refer to the instruction manual;
3) Repeatedly experiment and calculate the arithmetic mean of multiple (≥ 3) reasonable air permeability tests;
4) If calibration is required, enter the arithmetic mean of the air permeability in step 3 in the "Test Current Value" section of the calibration interface. Enter the standard film experimental data provided by the manufacturer in the "Film Standard Value" section. Click the 'Calibration' button. Click the "OK" button to exit and complete the calibration.
5) After calibration, it is necessary to use the standard film provided by the manufacturer for verification.
Calibration process of TotalPerm gas permeameter
If the arithmetic mean of the standard membrane after multiple tests is within 10% of the data provided by the manufacturer, calibration is not required; On the contrary, calibration and verification should be carried out according to steps 4 and 5.
