Overview
Chemical absorption refers to the process of absorbing or "dissolving" atoms, molecules, or ions in another phase. This is not surface accumulation (adsorption), but absorption into the free volume of the absorbing phase. Nowadays, chemical absorption is widely used to clean industrial waste gases, such as those from electroplating plants, or to eliminate odors. It is also widely used to absorb vapors of different acids (hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, etc.) or ammonia. We can also provide different levels of automated pH/conductivity/temperature sensors (with controllers) for the scrubber to track the status of the absorption solution. The controller will remind to replace the liquid in a timely manner to avoid emergency situations.
