Dual power automatic transfer switch function:

★ The logic control board manages the motor and gearbox directly installed in the switch with different logics to ensure the position of the switch.

★ The motor is a polyvinyl chloride rubber insulated wet heat type motor equipped with a safety device, which trips when the humidity and overcurrent exceed 110 ℃. After the fault disappears, it will automatically start working, and the reversible reduction gear adopts spur gear.

There is a reliable mechanical interlocking device and electrical interlocking protection between the two circuit breakers, which eliminates the possibility of both circuit breakers closing simultaneously.

The intelligent controller adopts a microcontroller as the control core, with simple hardware, * functions, easy expansion, and high reliability.

★ It has short-circuit and overload protection functions, automatic switching functions for overvoltage, undervoltage, and phase loss, and intelligent alarm functions.

The dual power automatic transfer switch (abbreviated as A.T.S) is suitable for emergency power supply systems with a rated working voltage of 240/415V and a frequency of 50/60Hz.

When a power supply fails, it can automatically switch between the common power supply and the backup power supply without manual operation to ensure the reliability of power supply for important users. It is mainly used in important places such as shopping malls, banks, civil defense, chemical engineering, metallurgy, high-rise buildings, military facilities, and fire protection where power outages are not allowed. This product complies with IEC60947-6-1, B/T14048.11 (Automatic Switching Electrical Appliances) standards, as well as (Fire Protection Regulations for High rise Civil Buildings), (Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings), (Guidelines for Emergency Lighting Design), (Code for Electrical Design of Civil Buildings), etc.

Dual power automatic transfer switch control function/working mode.

1 Automatic.

When the user sets the automatic function, the switching of the automatic transfer switch is automatically controlled by the controller based on the fault condition.

Power grid and generator: i.e. (F2) mode, when the automatic transfer switch is used for the power grid and generator system, the controller switches between the two power sources of the power grid and the generator, and sends a passive electric shock signal (output through a set of normally open and normally closed contacts) to start the generator system when the power grid fails. When the generator's generated voltage reaches the rated requirement, the controller will switch. As for the system capacity, it can be configured by the user themselves, and some loads can be removed first to avoid the inability to drive; After the power grid returns to normal, the automatic transfer switch will automatically switch to the power supply of the grid.

2 manual.

When in manual mode, users can manipulate the buttons on the controller panel to switch the toggle switch as needed. There are three positions to choose from: common power position, backup power position, and dual split position.

1. When there is a power outage due to unforeseen circumstances and power cannot be restored in a short period of time, the backup power source must be activated. Steps:

① Cut off all circuit breakers of the mains power supply (including circuit breakers in the distribution room control cabinet and the mains power supply circuit breaker in the dual power switch box), open the double throw anti reverse switch to the side of the self supplied power supply, and keep the self supplied power supply circuit breaker in the dual power switch box in the disconnected state.

② Start the standby power supply (diesel generator set), and when the standby set is running normally, sequentially close the generator air switch and all circuit breakers in the self-contained power control cabinet.

③ Close each backup power circuit breaker in the power switch box one by one to supply power to each load.

④ During the operation of the backup power supply, the operator on duty must not leave the generator set and adjust the voltage, plant frequency, etc. in a timely manner according to changes in load. Any abnormalities found should be dealt with promptly.

2. When the mains power supply is restored, the power conversion work should be done in a timely manner, the backup power supply should be cut off, and the mains power supply should be restored.

Steps:

① Disconnect each circuit breaker of the self-contained power supply one by one in the following order: self-contained power supply circuit breaker of the dual power switch box → circuit breakers of the self-contained power distribution cabinet → generator main switch → turn the double switch to the side of the mains power supply.

② Stop the diesel engine according to the shutdown steps.

③ In order, close each circuit breaker one by one from the mains power supply main switch to each branch switch, and place the dual power switch box from the mains power supply circuit breaker in the closed position.
