GB2591.14 Cable Low Temperature Winding Test Device
Product Overview:
The low-temperature winding test device is made according to the test requirements of GB2591.14 and IEC60811 clause 8. It is a specialized test device used to detect circular insulated wire cores with an outer diameter of 12.5mm or less and fan-shaped insulated wire cores that cannot be prepared as dumbbell specimens. It can be wound and bent under low-temperature conditions without cracking.
Main parameters:
1. Low temperature winding sample diameter: Ø 2.5-Ø 12.5mm
2. Winding rod diameter: Ø 4.0 ~ Ø 37.5mm
3. Wire sleeve: Ø 3.5, Ø 6, Ø 10, Ø 12, Ø 16mm, etc
4. Number of winding cycles for the sample: 2-10 cycles
5. This series of devices are all made of stainless steel
Choose different configurations based on the customer's sample requirements.
Basic principle:
The low-temperature winding device for wires is mainly used to test the flexibility and bending resistance of wires in low-temperature environments. The principle is to simulate a low-temperature environment, wrap the wire around a test rod of a specified diameter, and observe whether there are cracks, damages, and other conditions on the surface of the wire to determine whether the wire meets the quality standards.

Test steps:
1. Pre treatment of devices and materials, different standards have different time requirements. IEC60811 requires that devices and materials be placed in a low-temperature chamber for at least 16 hours.
2. Press and replace the winding rod according to the wire diameter.
3. Choose to tighten around the nozzle according to the wire diameter.
4. Sample installation.
5. During normal testing, rotate the handwheel at a speed of about 5 seconds per turn, please pay attention to the number of turns.
6. Judging the test results: Under normal visual conditions, the sample insulation has no cracks.
