The energy-saving counterflow fiberglass cooling tower designed by the Fourth Design and Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry is an improved design based on the test data of similar towers in the original design. This design applies the "Energy saving Fiberglass Cooling Tower" patent obtained by the Fourth Academy (patent number: 88215994.1). The feature of this patent is that the cooling tower fan is equipped with a variable torque and variable pole dual speed motor. When the temperature is low, such as at night, when the motor is turned on at low speed, the noise of the cooling tower can be reduced by 3-5 dB (A). In addition, using dual speed motors can significantly save electricity. When multiple cooling towers are equipped with single speed motors, some motors can be stopped to save electricity when the air temperature is low. It still consumes 40% more electricity annually than using a dual speed motor.

The control cabinet for the dual speed motor can be supplied as a set, or only the drawings of the control cabinet can be provided. The price of the control cabinet does not include the cost of the cooling tower and must be recorded separately. The oblique trapezoidal wave packing sheet used in the square counter current cooling tower has been tested by Beijing Water Science Institute and Foshan actual tower, and its thermal and resistance characteristics are superior to other packing materials.

Design parameters: The industrial tower has an air wet bulb humidity of t=28 ℃, an inlet water temperature t1=43 ℃ (or 48 ℃), and a tower water temperature t2=33 ℃; Civilian tower (low temperature drop): t=28 ℃, t1=37 ℃, t2=32 ℃.
