PermeGear's online transdermal diffusion cells can be seen as flow type vertical diffusion cells, with a very small receiving chamber volume. The membrane is horizontally placed on an online transdermal diffusion pool.

Online transdermal diffusion cells are used to replace Bronaugh units, with aperture sizes ranging from 3mm to 15mm. They are made of Kel-F plastic from 3M or fluoroplastic from Daikin. The online unit has a fixed clamping system that can preset, repeat, and securely fix biological tissues or membranes. This fixed system allows users to seal the upper part of the supply body against the membrane in advance by providing pressure through stainless steel springs, with a sealing diameter of within 0.1mm. The connector for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) uses a tube with an inner diameter of 1/16 ". The agitation effect within the unit can be examined using our Twin Flow Conversion System.

All PermeGear fully automatic online transdermal diffusers are based on the principle of continuous flow, with a multi-channel peristaltic pump pumping the solution from the receiving chamber to the online diffusion pool through a manifold. The sample pool is heated to 32 ℃, and our automatic controller allows users to collect 7 samples and perform online automatic analysis continuously for 99.9 hours. The time for each sample can be independently programmed through the collector. The number of collection bottles can be determined based on the user's selection. We provide collection bottles with a diameter of 20ml/28mm, allowing users to choose to use other commonly used 4ml WISP tubes.
