The HPR series of supercritical fluid extraction (SFE), oxidation reaction (SFR), cleaning (SFC), drying (SFD), and phase equilibrium systems manufactured by SFT company have multiple functions, which are often only available in higher value equipment. As a fundamental system for handling various problems, HPR system can be widely applied in multiple fields, from routine analysis work to the development of basic process technology.

The HPR system is customized for personnel studying the feasibility of supercritical fluid technology and applying it to a wider range of analysis and processing fields. In addition to many industrial applications, HPR systems are mainly suitable for various types of universities; It can be used in both teaching laboratories and precision research.

The HPR system can be equipped with kettle bodies ranging from 5ml to 8000ml; Operating pressure up to 10000psi, temperature ranging from room temperature to 350 ℃; Four kettles can be selected simultaneously. The wide range of kettle body volume allows this system to be used for both supercritical analysis application experiments and basic process development.

Using an 8000ml kettle container, the HPR system can extract components with very low content in the raw materials, and can provide processing capacity that small analytical equipment cannot achieve, enabling small-scale production. In the HPR host box, the preheater is used to ensure precise control of the fluid temperature reaching the extraction container. This is crucial for obtaining accurate and reproducible results.

The HPR system is equipped with a high-performance dual piston pump. It can provide the high pressure required for supercritical extraction work. This system has built-in security measures to prevent ultra-high pressure and high temperature. When there is a sudden problem, the collection of explosive discs provides mechanical protection to prevent sudden pressurization of the system.

Manual valves ensure a long-term stable and maintenance free operating process. A complete program logic controller monitors and regulates the flow and pressure inside the extraction container to reach and maintain a desired control point. The PID temperature controller monitors and maintains accurate fluid temperature inside the high-pressure vessel.

The HPR system uses adjustable flow limiting valves (back pressure regulators) to ensure precise flow control after gas expansion. This flow limiting valve is engraved with a scale, which can quantify the amplitude of adjustment; This is crucial for reproducible and accurate experimental results. Generally, using a 500mL or smaller kettle body, the liquid CO2 flow rate is 0.1 to 25ml/min (0.008 to 18g/min). When using a larger kettle body, the liquid CO2 flow rate is 0.1 to 2500 ml/min (0.008 to 2000 grams/minute). CO2 is the solvent for supercritical systems, and with slight modifications, the system can flexibly use different solvents besides CO2.
