For special samples, such as sol gel, biological samples, porous materials with unstable structure, etc., the sample structure will be damaged if pretreated by the traditional drying method. In the critical point drying method, the medium adopts a phase transition method of liquid carbon dioxide supercritical carbon dioxide gaseous carbon dioxide, which reduces the surface stress at the interface to zero and preserves the fine structure of the sample.
