The full-automatic foam analyzer is mainly used to measure and characterize the macro performance of foam, such as foaming property and stability. This instrument can be used for both water-soluble and non water soluble vacuole measurements, as the new device is not based on traditional conductivity measurements. Foam quality plays an important role in reservoir conditions, because foam liquidity and foam stability directly depend on foam quality. The advanced infrared data analysis and measurement system not only allows to monitor the dynamic changes of foam, but also can measure the relative quality of foam, as well as the instability or pulsation of bubble holes.
