Friction coefficient meterThe profession is suitable for measuring the static and dynamic friction coefficients of materials such as plastic films and sheets, rubber, paper, cardboard, woven bags, fabric styles, metal composite tapes for communication cables and optical cables, conveyor belts, wood, coatings, wipers, shoe materials, tires, etc. when sliding. By measuring the smoothness of materials, the production quality and process indicators of materials can be controlled and adjusted to meet the requirements of product use. In addition, it can also be used for measuring the smoothness performance of cosmetics and other daily chemical products. The equipment complies with standards such as ISO 8295, GB 10006, ASTM D1894, TAPPI T816, etc.

Friction coefficient meterdefinition
The friction force between two solid surfaces is proportional to the positive pressure, and this ratio is called the friction coefficient. The coefficient of friction is determined by the properties, roughness, and (possible) lubricants of the sliding surface. The rougher the sliding surface, the greater the friction coefficient.
The friction coefficient between objects is divided into two types, one is the sliding friction coefficient, and the other is the maximum static friction coefficient. In terms of numerical value, the latter is slightly higher than the former.
In addition, if the relative velocity between two objects is high, the sliding friction coefficient is also related to the magnitude of the relative velocity
The coefficient of friction refers to the ratio of the frictional force between two surfaces to the vertical force acting on one surface. It is related to the surface roughness, not the size of the contact area. According to the nature of motion, it can be divided into dynamic friction coefficient and static friction coefficient.
Friction coefficient meter
The friction coefficient is an important indicator for evaluating the smoothness performance of packaging materials on both the inside and outside. By testing to ensure its good openness and smooth transportation and packaging on high-speed production lines, it meets the requirements of high-speed product packaging
Product Features
Friction coefficient meterIt can simultaneously measure the static friction coefficient and dynamic friction coefficient of the sample, and the static time is automatically timed; The dynamic and static friction coefficients are automatically reset to ensure sufficient contact between the samples and improve the accuracy of the test results. The instrument test bench and test slider have undergone demagnetization treatment and residual magnetism detection, effectively reducing system testing errors. The equipment is controlled by a microcomputer and equipped with a menu style operation interface, PVC control panel, and LCD screen, making it convenient for users to perform test operations and view data. The LCD screen displays force values and dynamic and static friction coefficients in real time, and is equipped with a micro printer to automatically print test reports for individual or group samples. The standard RS232 interface facilitates external connection and data transmission between the system and the computer.
Experimental Procedure
1. Cut the sample of flexible packaging material to be tested;
2. Open
Friction coefficient meterSet parameters;
3. Treat the sample in a standard environment for at least 16 hours, and take two 8cm x 20cm samples for each test;
4. Fix the experimental surface of a sample upwards and flat on a horizontal experimental platform. The length direction of the sample and the test bench should be parallel. Place the test surface of another sample downwards, wrap one side of the slider felt, and fix it on both sides with tape. If the sample is thick or has high rigidity, it can be taken as 63cm × 63cm (slider size), and the sample can be fixed with double-sided tape between the bottom of the slider and the non test surface of the sample;
5. Place the slider with the fixed sample in the center of the first sample without impact, and ensure that the test direction of the two samples is parallel to the direction of the slider and the force measurement system is not subjected to any force;
6. Connect the standard slider to the sensor;
7. Click on the software interface to run the experiment. After the experiment is completed, remove the slider and click back to protect the sensor. Multiple sets of samples should be tested;
8. Analyze the experimental results using instruments and print them.
