Product Details

BH-4S Four in One Composite Gas Detector for Toxic, Harmful, Combustible Oxygen CO/CH4 Hydrogen Sulfide Introduction

BH-4SFour in one composite toxic and harmful gas detectorTo detect gas concentration through natural expansion, the latest 32-bit microprocessor and imported industrial grade sensors are used, with fast response time, high measurement accuracy, good stability and repeatability. The 2.4-inch LCD crystal display screen has a resolution of 320 * 240 high-definition interface display, and auxiliary functions such as uploading computer analysis and switching between Chinese and English. The whole machine meets the national metrological production license standards.

An intrinsic safety instrument that can continuously detect the concentration of toxic, harmful, flammable, and explosive gases in the work environment. Suitable for explosion prevention, toxic gas leakage rescue, underground pipelines, mines, metallurgy, power plants, chemical industry, tunnels, galleries and other places. Effectively prevent poisoning accidents, ensure the safety of workers and prevent damage to production equipment.

Supports over thirty types of sensors, which can be freely combined and flexibly configured according to customer needs (supporting simultaneous detection of four gases according to customer needs). Default: combustible gas (EX), oxygen (O), hydrogen (H, S), carbon monoxide (CO), four gases.

It can display the recent changes in gas concentration, making it convenient for comparative analysis and observation of data changes.

Adopting ultra-high decibel buzzer alarm, vibration prompt, four light flashing, and interface data color change prompt. The high and low dual alarm estimates can be set by oneself.

Equipped with upper computer software, it can query and number alarm record data, facilitating comparative analysis and observation of data changes. (Optional)

Default range (customizable according to travel needs):

Gaseous EX: 0-100% LEL

Oxygen O2: 0-30% VOL

Hydrogen sulfide H2S: 0~100PPM

Carbon monoxide CO: 0-1000PPM

Resolution:

Gaseous EX: 1% LEL

Oxygen O2: 0.1% VOL

Dehua hydrogen H2S: 1PPM

Carbon monoxide CO: 1PPM

Four in one composite toxic and harmful gas detectorIt can simultaneously detect four gases including combustible gas, oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, etc. The operation process needs to follow standardized procedures to ensure the accuracy of the detection results and personnel safety. The specific operation steps are as follows:

1、 Preparation before operation

Electricity check

Ensure that the instrument has sufficient power to avoid automatic shutdown due to low power during the detection process. If the battery is low, it needs to be charged in a timely manner (charging time is generally 10-14 hours).

Press and hold the power button to start the device, complete the power on self-test (about 10-15 seconds), and enter the working state after hearing the buzzer prompt.

Appearance and sensor inspection

Check if the instrument casing is intact and if the sensor window is clean and free of physical damage.

Confirm that the probe and sensor are securely connected to avoid detection errors caused by looseness.

Environmental assessment

The testing environment should be well ventilated and free of electromagnetic interference (such as large motor equipment).

Avoid using in damp, high temperature, or corrosive gas environments to prevent damage to the instrument.

Calibration (during use or regular maintenance)

Zero point calibration: Place the instrument in clean air, record the zero point value after the reading stabilizes, and adjust it to the standard range according to the instructions.

Range calibration: Connect a standard gas (such as a 50% concentration gas) to the inlet, slowly ventilate until the reading stabilizes, confirm consistency with the standard value, and adjust if necessary.

Frequency: It is recommended to calibrate every 6 months or shorten the cycle based on usage frequency and on-site conditions.

2、 On site detection operation of four in one composite toxic and harmful gas detector

Enter the detection area

Wear personal protective equipment (such as gas masks, gloves, etc.) and hold or secure the instrument on your belt.

Two people cooperate in operation: one person checks, one person supervises, maintains a safe distance in front and behind, and single person operation is strictly prohibited.

Selection of detection mode

Diffusion type: suitable for open spaces, placing the probe in the environment to be tested and allowing gas to naturally diffuse to the sensor.

Pump suction: Suitable for enclosed spaces such as pipelines and tanks, it actively extracts gas samples through an internal pump.

Detection sequence and recording

Priority detection of oxygen concentration: Ensure that the environmental oxygen content is between 19.5% and 23.5% to avoid the risk of oxygen deficiency or enrichment.

Detect combustible gases such as methane, hydrogen, etc., and confirm that the concentration is below 10% of the lower explosive limit (LEL).

Detect toxic gases such as carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide, and confirm that the concentration is below the occupational exposure limit (OEL).

Record data: After the reading stabilizes (usually taking more than 30 seconds), record the concentration values of oxygen, combustible gas, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide.

Alarm response

If the instrument emits an audible and visual alarm, immediately evacuate the on-site personnel and force ventilation for at least 30 minutes.

Professional personnel should wear protective equipment to enter, investigate and repair the leakage source, and then conduct another inspection to confirm safety.

3、 Post operation maintenance

Shutdown and Charging

After the detection is completed, press and hold the power button to turn off the device and avoid sudden power failure that may damage the sensor.

Charge in a timely manner to ensure sufficient battery before the next use.

Data Storage and Query

Some models support data storage function, which can save detection records to internal memory or export them to a computer for analysis.

Cleaning and maintenance

Wipe the instrument casing with a clean soft cloth and avoid using cleaning agents containing corrosive solvents.

Regularly clean the sensor window to prevent dust or oil from clogging and affecting detection accuracy.

Regular maintenance

According to the instructions, regularly replace sensors (such as electrochemical sensors, which typically have a lifespan of 2-3 years).

Contact professional institutions for comprehensive testing and calibration to ensure stable instrument performance.

4、 Safety precautions

Operation qualification

Only trained and qualified personnel are allowed to operate and maintain the instrument, and the user manual must be read and understood before operation.

Avoid interference

Stay away from substances such as lead compounds, silicone resins, chlorinated hydrocarbons, etc., which may temporarily render the sensor ineffective.

Abnormal reading handling

If the reading suddenly rises and then drops or becomes unstable, it may indicate that the gas concentration exceeds the range and requires immediate evacuation and ventilation.

Emergency response

Develop emergency plans, including procedures for leak disposal, personnel first aid, etc., and conduct regular drills.
