The PSL-T60 photoluminescence detector is a newly developed photoluminescence (PSL) system by our company, also known as a photoluminescence system. It consists of a pulsed excitation light source (infrared excitation light source), a sample chamber, a detection probe, a photon counting system, and a control unit; Used for rapid identification of whether food and drugs have been irradiated.
Detection principle: Samples of traditional Chinese medicine or spices usually contain or carry minerals (inorganic substances, silicates, etc.). When exposed to ionizing radiation (irradiation), these minerals store energy through their structural voids. When stimulated by excitation light, these stored energies will be released in the form of photons. The photoluminescence identification method is a method of identifying whether traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces and solid preparations containing raw powder have been subjected to ionizing radiation (irradiation) based on the number of photons released.
The sample does not require special pre-treatment and can be directly measured after sampling, with simple operation and strong applicability;
