250Y PTFE orifice plate corrugated packing, resistant to nitric acid and high temperature, is the preferred regular packing for strong corrosion conditions in fluorine chemical industry.

1. Nitric acid resistance (strong oxidation resistance)
Material essence:Fluorochemical 250Y PTFE perforated plate corrugated packing resistant to nitric acid and high temperaturePolytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE has strong chemical stability and exhibits inertness towards concentrated nitric acid, dilute nitric acid, and fuming nitric acid. It does not dissolve, swell, or oxidize.
Applicable scenarios: Can be used for long-term use in strong oxidation conditions such as nitric acid absorption, nitric acid distillation, nitrate washing, and nitric acid containing tail gas treatment.
Comparative advantage: far superior to304/316L stainless steel, carbon steel, ordinary plastic (PP/PE), no corrosion, no leaching, and extremely long service life in nitric acid environment.
2. High temperature resistance performance
Fluorochemical 250Y PTFE perforated plate corrugated packing resistant to nitric acid and high temperatureLong term use temperature:200-250 ℃ (continuous operating conditions).
Short term temperature tolerance: up to260 ℃, allowing for sudden cooling and heating.
Temperature boundary: ExceedingIt will slowly decompose at 260 ℃, and accelerate at>300 ℃. It is not recommended to use it for a long time.

1. Nitric acid absorption tower/Distillation tower: Processing concentrated nitric acid, dilute nitric acid, and fuming nitric acid, with long-term stability and no corrosion.
2. Fluorine containing medium distillation/Absorption: such as Freon and fluorine-containing intermediates, resistant to dual corrosion of HF and strong oxidation.
3. Tail gas scrubbing tower: deals with high-temperature tail gas containing nitric acid, nitrogen oxides, and fluorides, with high purification efficiency and long service life.
4. Strong oxidation system separation: such as nitric acid-Organic azeotropic system and nitration refining to avoid metal contamination and corrosion.
threeSelection and usage points
1. Temperature control: long-term working condition recommendations≤ 230 ℃, short-term ≤ 250 ℃, avoid continuous working conditions of>260 ℃.
2. Structure selection:250Y combines mass transfer efficiency and flux, making it the mainstream model of fluorination tower equipment; High load options include 125Y, while high-precision options include 350Y.
3. Supporting components: It is recommended to pair with PTFE/Hastelloy distributor and support grid to prevent corrosion and contamination of dissimilar metals.
4. Installation precautions:PTFE has low strength, so avoid heavy pressure and impact during installation. It is recommended to use modular whole disc loading.
