Select appropriate indicator and reference electrodes to form a working battery with the measured solution. As the titrant is added, the concentration of the measured ion changes continuously due to chemical reactions, resulting in a change in the potential of the indicator electrode. Near the endpoint of titration, there is a sudden change in the concentration of the measured ion, causing a jump in electrode potential. Therefore, the endpoint of titration can be determined based on the jump in electrode potential.
