Pharmaceutical factories must install toxic gas alarms.According to statistics,The total output value of China's pharmaceutical industry accounts for less than 3% of the country's GDP, while the total pollution emissions account for about 6%. Among them, the problem of high pollution and high energy consumption in the raw material pharmaceutical industry is particularly prominent. The extensive use of organic solvents in the medical and chemical industry has resulted in the formation of gases with irritating and foul odors, as well as certain toxicity.

The toxic gas alarm is installed in the processing workshop to detect the air environment in real time. When the concentration reaches the set alarm point, an audible and visual alarm will be triggered to remind the operators to take protective measures in a timely manner. It can be linked with solenoid valves, exhaust fans, and sprinkler systems to achieve the purpose of eliminating risks.

Pharmaceutical factories need to install toxic gas alarms. Different gas alarms need to be installed for different harmful gases. In order to protect the health of workers, we recommend wearing gas masks and ensuring double safety. Installing gas leak alarms is responsible for workers and reduces corresponding losses for the enterprise.

Understand a few questions before installing a gas detector

Please first clarify the device or workshop you want to monitor and identify any possible leakage points.

1Based on the dominant wind direction of the location, possible circulation phenomena of the air, the upward trend of air flow, and the habitual channels of natural air flow in the workshop, it is comprehensively speculated that the natural diffusion trend of combustible gas on the plane will be affected when a large amount of leakage occurs.

2Based on the specific gravity of the leaked gas (greater or less than air) and combined with the air flow trend, determine the three-dimensional flow trend chart of the comprehensive leakage flow.

3For a large workshop with natural gas leaks, it is recommended to set up a detection point every 7.5m radius.

4Overall, combustible gas detectors are detectors that respond to changes in the concentration of a single or multiple combustible gases. They can be divided into point type and line type (distributed type) gas detectors. The installation spacing for outdoor gas detectors is every 15 meters, with a protection radius of 7.5 meters; Enclosed and semi enclosed indoor spaces are installed at a distance of 7 meters, with a protection radius of 3.5 meters. Toxic gas detectors must be installed within 1 meter of potential leakage sources. Combustible gas detectors in small explosion-proof areas must also be installed within 1 meter of potential leakage sources. Combustible gas probes with a specific gravity greater than 0.975, which are heavier than air, should be installed at a height of 0.3-1 meters above the ground; Combustible gas probes with a lower specific gravity than air, such as hydrogen, are installed within a range of 0.3-2 meters from the ceiling.
