*Alcohol, natural gas, gas concentration leak alarm
The catering industry extensively uses flammable and explosive gases such as liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas, and artificial gas, which increases safety hazards for restaurants. Especially in recent years, restaurant fires and explosions have occurred frequently, causing adverse social impacts. So, how can restaurants prevent gas leaks and ensure safe dining for consumers?
Combustible gas detection alarm is an important security product. Its main function is to promptly issue sound and light alarm signals or cut off solenoid valves when combustible gas leaks or exceeds the concentration limit, reminding people to evacuate urgently or take safety measures, effectively ensuring the gas safety of restaurants.
The main working principle of combustible gas detection alarm: The combustible gas detection alarm is divided into two parts: detector and controller. The detector is installed at the detection site, and the controller is installed in the duty room. When gas leaks, the detector will first sense and issue an on-site alarm, and then convert the detected gas concentration into an electrical signal to transmit to the controller behind. After receiving the signal, the controller will also issue an alarm to remind the on duty personnel to take measures. At the same time, the alarm will also activate the exhaust fan to start blowing air.
*Alcohol, natural gas, gas concentration leak alarm
The installation location of the alarm varies depending on the type of gas used in the restaurant.
1. Testing natural gas. Due to the lighter density of natural gas compared to air, a large amount of combustible gas detection alarm should be installed at a distance of 0.3-0.6 meters from the ceiling after leakage and accumulate upwards.
2. Detect liquefied gas and coal gas. Liquefied gas and coal gas are heavier than air, and combustible gas detection alarms should be installed at a distance of 0.3-0.6 meters from the ground.
Installation precautions
1. Avoid falling.
The core component of a gas alarm is the sensor, which is coated with rare metals such as platinum and palladium on its outer surface. Be careful during installation to avoid damaging the probe.
2. Do not disassemble at will.
Each gas alarm is calibrated before leaving the factory. If there is a malfunction, it should be operated under the guidance of professional personnel.
3. Install in a prominent location.
When a gas alarm detects a certain concentration of gas, it will emit sound and light alarm signals, so it should be installed in a place where the staff can see and hear it easily.
4. Keep the power on normal.
Frequent power outages or unstable voltage can easily damage the instrument.
5. Regular calibration.
To prevent gas alarm monitoring data from drifting and affecting data accuracy, regular calibration of the alarm should be carried out. The calibration cycle is generally one or six months, depending on the on-site environment.
Combustible gas detection alarm is a precision instrument, and everyone should pay attention to maintenance and upkeep during use. When the instrument malfunctions, it cannot be disassembled without authorization. We need to hire a professional to repair itlook forManufacturer after-sales service ensures the safe and reliable operation of the instrument.
