Fisher locator linear feedback magnetic strip kitGG20240X052 is a 50mm linear feedback magnetic strip kit specifically designed for Emerson Fisher FieldVUE series (DVC2000/DVC6200) locators, and is not the locator host.

1、 GG20240X052 kit includes accessories

50mm linear magnetic array: core feedback component, made of aluminum material.

Mounting Clamp: Used to secure the magnetic strip onto the valve stem.

Mounting Screws: Made of stainless steel, used for locking fixtures.

Alignment Tool: Used for precise alignment during installation, ensuring that the magnetic stripe is parallel to the Hall sensor inside the locator.

2、 Accessories required for the installation of the locator body (purchased separately)

The magnetic strip is only a feedback component, and the following components are required to install the DVC locator to the actuator:

Mounting Bracket

Applicable models: Select the corresponding bracket based on the actuator model (such as 667, 657, 3661, etc.), commonly using the 1067-4 and 1067-5 series.

Function: Connect the locator host to the actuator.

Coupling/Linkage

Used for some old-fashioned locators with non-magnetic strip feedback, but GG20240X052 is a contactless magnetic strip and does not require this part.

Gas path joints and seals

Gas source connector: 1/4 NPT or G1/4 external thread connector.

O-ring/sealing gasket: Ensure the connection between the locator and the actuator air path is sealed.

Install screws

Internal hexagonal bolts (usually M6 or 1/4-20 UNC) used to secure the locator to the bracket.

3、 Installation points

Magnetic strip installation: Use a special fixture to fix the GG20240X052 magnetic strip on the valve stem, ensuring that the magnetic strip is vertically centered and parallel to the induction slot on the back of the locator without friction.

Calibration and positioning: Use the calibration tool in the kit to align the midpoint of the magnetic strip with the midpoint of the locator sensing slot, and then tighten the screw.

Electrical connection: The locator body needs to be separately connected to a 4-20mA signal and a 24V DC power supply.
