FISCHERSCOPE MMS PC2MMS PC2 can be operated using a large-sized and high-resolution color touch screen, or a keyboard and mouse. Equipped with LAN and USB interfaces, it can be integrated into automatic production lines. In addition, an additional 8 probes can be used for measurement. The modular design of MMS PC2 allows the instrument to be equipped according to customer requirements and can be upgraded and improved with other modules and probes when needed. According to the requirements, different measurement methods can be used on the instrument, such as eddy current method, magnetic method, magnetic induction method, or resistance method. It can measure the coating thickness of almost all materials on metal, as well as the coating thickness of metal on non-conductive materials. It can also be used to determine the electrical conductivity of non ferromagnetic metals and measure the ferrite content in austenitic or duplex steels. |

By using the BETASOPE module, the thickness of organic compounds and metal coatings on different substrates can be measured using the beta backscattering method, which means that any coating on different substrates can have an atomic number difference of 5 or more between the two materials. With suitable probes, for quality control purposes, it can even measure the thickness of soft and lubricating coatings, such as organic nano films (anti fingerprint films) on stainless steel or rust proof grease layers during metal plate production and processing.
After being equipped with appropriate measurement modules, MMS PC2 can be flexibly used for incoming inspection, factory inspection, or production monitoring. He can provide multiple data reporting methods and perform quality and process control through Fischer's FDD software. He can also easily establish automatic measurements because the measurement system can directly control the motor-driven measurement table or XY sample table, and embed automatic production through LAN and I/O modules
