Product Details

The FY-II Personal Radiation Sound Instrument is a wearable personal monitoring device used to measure the strength of X-ray and gamma radiation fields. It is used for radiation monitoring of personnel in fields such as isotope applications, gamma irradiation, X-ray and gamma non-destructive testing, X-ray diagnosis, accelerators, and cobalt source therapy. Due to its high sensitivity, the instrument also responds to environmental background radiation. This instrument indicates the level of radiation in an individual's location through the frequency of sound and flashing. Due to its low power consumption, small size, and low cost, the instrument has been widely used. The instrument has passed the ministerial level technical appraisal.

Detector: GM counter tube

Applicable radiation field and measurement range: Suitable for X and gamma radiation fields, with a maximum allowable dose rate of 5R/h.

Power supply: Universal No. 5 battery R6, power consumption less than 2mW, (under background conditions) the battery can be used continuously for more than two months.

Size: 95 (height) x 55 (width) x 20 (thickness)

Set dose rate threshold alarm to detect sudden radiation hazards.

There are various forms of alarms, including sound, flashing, or vibration options.

【 Application Fields 】

Used for radiation monitoring of personnel in fields such as isotope applications, gamma irradiation, X-ray and gamma ray non-destructive testing, X-ray diagnosis, accelerators, and cobalt source therapy.
