·Excellent transient performance

The pulse width of electromagnetic waves in the 76-81GHz band can be narrowed to sub picoseconds (ps), making it suitable for time-resolved studies of various materials and measurement of molecular structures; By using sampling measurement techniques, it is possible to effectively suppress the interference of far red background noise.

·There is a wide broadband available

Pulse sources in the 76-81GHz band typically require only a few cycles of electromagnetic wave oscillation, which is close to the vibrational and rotational energy levels of many biomolecules, as well as the molecular vibrational energy levels of dielectrics, semiconductors, superconductors, and thin film materials. Therefore, the 76-81GHz band spectrum can be used as an effective means of detecting material information in the millimeter wave band, which is very suitable for measuring material absorption spectra and can be used for qualitative identification applications.

Coherent current driven dipole oscillation or coherent laser pulse nonlinear frequency difference effect;

·Low energy capability

Millimeter wave photons have an energy of only a few millielectronvolts and do not exhibit phenomena such as X-ray ionization or damage to the substance being detected, making it difficult to damage the substance being detected.

·Strong penetrability

Non polar substances have strong penetrating power, and many non-metallic non-polar materials have low absorption of radiation in the 76-81GHz band. Therefore, they can be used to detect the internal structure of materials. For example, ceramics/cardboard/plastic products/foam are transparent to electromagnetic radiation in this band.

·Easy to be absorbed by polar molecules

The 76-81GHz band has less scattering in non-uniform materials and can detect and measure water vapor content. It is also possible to study the composition of substances or conduct quality control by analyzing their characteristic spectra.
