Festo stop cylinder is a type of cylinder that can be used with or without damping to stop the movement inside the machine or the movement of the workpiece carrier on the transport system. On the transportation system, a damping stop cylinder can stop the movement of a load weighing up to 800 kg. The stop cylinder is mainly designed to stop or lock moving parts, such as loads on assembly lines.

1. Stop cylinder DFSP: It is a standard stop cylinder designed with ear shafts or rollers. The ear shaft model offers two specifications with and without anti torsion devices - the same applies to internal threads. The drum type stop cylinder provides anti torsion device. This model has a compact structure, sensor slots on all three sides, and a long service life due to its excellent buffering characteristics and sturdy piston rod guide rail. It can safely stop the operation of workpiece carriers, trays, and package sets weighing up to 90 kg.

2. Stop cylinder DFST: With a cushioned rocker mechanism and built-in adjustable buffer, the workpiece can be stopped very gently without producing any vibration or noise. Due to the adjustable direction of action (90 °, 180 °, 270 °), the cylinder has high flexibility; In addition, the cylinder can withstand an impact mass of up to 800 kg.

3. Stop cylinder STAF: It is a type of cylinder that adopts a rocker design and is equipped with recoil protection and isolation functions. It can absorb up to 150 kg of high lateral force, and even at long distances, it can be quickly controlled through flange connected solenoid valves. In addition, this product is available in two types: single acting and double acting.
