The Ø 9 × 120 tube body is suitable for use with various brands of fully automatic erythrocyte sedimentation rate analyzers. Due to the small amount of blood collected and the low negative pressure inside the tube, the blood collection time is relatively long. Patients should patiently wait until the blood stops flowing into the blood collection tube and mix 6-8 times to ensure that the anticoagulant and blood are fully mixed. Improper mixing can cause hemolysis, coagulation, or blood bubbles, which can affect the test results.
The Ø 13 × 75 erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) test tube is specifically designed for the collection and anticoagulation of blood samples during the measurement of erythrocyte sedimentation rate using the Weibull ESR method.
