The Empore membrane solid-phase extraction technology includes solid-phase extraction particles tightly packed into inert PTFE raw fibers (90% solid-phase extraction particles: 10% PTFE, weight ratio). The manufacturing process of solid-phase extraction membranes can form a uniform high-density extraction medium, which has significant advantages over traditional adsorbent/packed bed solid-phase extraction products. Empore solid-phase extraction technology can provide a denser and more uniform extraction bed than traditional packed bed products, resulting in a lighter bed weight, shorter diffusion paths for analytes to the voids, and higher extraction efficiency.

The Empore series solid-phase extraction discs are the most complete solid-phase extraction disc products used for extracting large amounts of aqueous samples. This product series includes the time tested C18 and unique phase chemical properties such as carbon and high polarity oil discs. This disc is an ideal choice for environmental analysis, typically with a sample size of 1L, and is an efficient alternative to LLE.
