Electrolytic water process monitoring analyzerApplication: One is safety monitoring, such as monitoring the residual hydrogen concentration in the oxygen side products of the electrolytic cell to prevent the formation of explosive mixtures due to excessive hydrogen concentration. It can also be used to detect whether the proton exchange membrane or diaphragm of the electrolytic cell is damaged. The second is process optimization and efficiency improvement. By monitoring the impurity content of hydrogen to verify the purity of oxygen, evaluating the current efficiency of the electrolytic cell, and optimizing the parameters of the electrolysis process, such as voltage, temperature, etc.
Principle: Use multiple sensor technologies to detect impurities.
·Hydrogen content in oxygen: Use high-precision thermal conductivity sensors or electrochemical sensors. Due to the significant difference in thermal conductivity between hydrogen and oxygen, the presence of trace amounts of hydrogen can significantly alter the thermal conductivity of the mixed gas, allowing for precise measurement. This is crucial for safety, as hydrogen oxygen mixtures are explosive at specific concentrations.
·The oxygen content in hydrogen gas is also monitored using high-precision sensors such as paramagnetic oxygen analyzers or electrochemical sensors. Oxygen, as an impurity, can affect the quality of hydrogen, especially in subsequent storage and applications such as fuel cells.
·Moisture content: The gas produced by electrolysis is saturated with moisture. Use dew point sensors to measure the water content (dew point temperature) in gases. This is crucial for protecting downstream equipment and pipelines, preventing corrosion, and meeting certain hydrogen standards.
The electrolytic water monitoring analyzer is an integrated, multi parameter measurement system that combines multiple physical and chemical sensors together, supplemented by data acquisition and processing units, to provide operators with an "instrument panel" about the overall operation status of the electrolytic water system.
Electrolytic water process monitoring analyzerIt is the "eye" and "nose" of green hydrogen production equipment, which directly affects the safety, efficiency, product quality, and equipment life of production by monitoring gas purity and key physical and chemical parameters in real time. With the development of hydrogen production technology through electrolysis of water towards large-scale, high-efficiency, and high reliability, high-performance online monitoring and analysis instruments have become available core auxiliary equipment.
