The electric desalination system is also known as an EDI (continuous electro de ionization) system. It is the process of using a mixed ion exchange resin to adsorb anions and cations in water, and at the same time, these adsorbed ions are separated through the cation exchange membrane under the action of direct current voltage. During this process, the ion exchange resin is regenerated continuously by electricity, so there is no need to regenerate it with acid or alkali. This new technology can replace traditional ion exchange devices and produce ultrapure water with a resistivity of up to 18M Ω· CM.

EDI is an advanced technology that combines electrodialysis technology and ion exchange technology. The system can selectively permeate anions and cations through the anion and cation exchange membranes through electromagnetic fields, and exchange ions through ion exchange resins. Under the action of a direct current electric field, it can achieve directional migration of ions, thus completing deep desalination of water. The system can continuously regenerate the resin automatically without stopping the machine to use acid-base regeneration resin, thus continuously producing high-quality pure water.

Mixed bed is the process of filling a certain proportion of yin-yang resin into the same exchanger and mixing it evenly before operation. At this point, after passing through the mixed ion exchange bed, the treated water immediately generates low solubility water consisting of hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions. As a process terminal ultra purification device, it can increase the water resistance of the terminal outlet to 15M Ω Above 2cm, meet the high-quality water demand of users.
