According to the thickness of the retaining ring, it can be divided into standard type and thickened heavy-duty type. For example, a retaining ring with an aperture of 8mm has a thickness of 0.8mm, while a retaining ring with an aperture of 10mm has a thickness of 1.00. Different specifications of retaining rings have corresponding standard specifications for outer diameter, thickness, head height, shoulder width, and other dimensions.

Hardness requirement: A retaining ring with a specification not exceeding 48mm and a hardness of 470HV-580HV; A retaining ring with a diameter of 48mm ＜ d ≤ 200mm and a hardness of 435HV-530HV; 200mm ＜ d1 ≤ 300mm retaining ring, with a hardness of 390HV-470HV.
