The Dynamic Thermomechanical Analyzer (DMA) is mainly used to test the dynamic mechanical properties of materials or products used under dynamic conditions, including tires, shock absorbers or damping materials, sound absorbing and noise reducing materials, etc. The storage modulus, loss modulus, and loss factor of the test material vary with temperature, frequency, amplitude, or strain. It can also reflect the glass transition temperature of the material and the degree of filler networking, and can judge the compatibility of the blend. At the same time, the instrument can also test the static mechanical properties of materials, including stress relaxation, creep, temperature deformation curve (TMA), controlled strain rate, etc. It also has certain advantages in characterizing the properties of shape memory materials.
