The device is driven by a fully enclosed 1/4hp motor with a stainless steel shaft, and the diamond blades are designed with water cooling to adjust the sample cutting length as needed, ranging from 0.7-1.31 inches. The sample is fixed by a sturdy aluminum sample holder, which moves on a low friction polyethylene guide rail without the need for lubricants.

The standard configuration of the product includes a host, two professional steel blades, a sound alarm, and a foot switch. If needed, copper blades can be provided.
