The filter cartridge of the dissolution analyzer is a key consumable used for drug dissolution testing. Its core function is to remove undissolved particles (such as excipients, disintegration fragments, etc.) from the dissolution solution through physical filtration, terminate dissolution behavior, and protect subsequent analytical instruments (such as high-performance liquid chromatography) from blockage interference, ensuring the accuracy and reproducibility of detection data;

Structural composition and material properties:

Main material

Ultra high density polyethylene (UHMWPE): low adsorption, acid and alkali resistance, and organic solvents, suitable for conventional drug dissolution experiments;

Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF): Strong resistance to organic solvents, suitable for samples containing special solvents such as DMSO;

Polypropylene (PP): Low cost, suitable for coarse filtration or pre-treatment of large volume samples;

structural design

Aperture accuracy: 0.45 μ m or 0.22 μ m is the mainstream specification, meeting the precision analysis requirements of high-performance liquid chromatography and other technologies;

Three dimensional micropores: a gradient pore structure is formed through sintering process, which combines deep filtration and surface interception functions.

Maintenance precautions:

-Regularly replace the filter element (it is recommended to replace it once in a single experiment) to avoid clogging and pressure abnormalities;

-Enabling backwash function (if supported by the device) can extend the service life of the filter element;
