Delger Multi Gas Detector X-AM5800

The Delger X-am5800 is a portable gas detector used for continuous monitoring of various gas concentrations in the air around workplaces and explosive areas. This gas detector is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, with a protection level of IP68. The certified explosion-proof type can be found on the nameplate. Not suitable for use in water spray columns.

The X-am 5800 gas detector can detect up to six types of gases and is equipped with the highly seismic CatEx sensor. With the help of Drager Gas Detection Connect software, real-time data transmission and asset management can be provided. The X-am 5800 is specifically designed for personal monitoring, providing you with high performance at a lower purchase cost.

Instructions for Use:

Connect the gas detector to a smartphone via Bluetooth to connect the gas detector to an appropriate smartphone.

Bluetooth functionality and license required GATT interface (generic property profile) can be enabled through computer software CC Vision or Quick Menu 1).

The data transmitted through Bluetooth can be used for additional measures. But these data cannot replace the main measures performed by gas detectors on site. The alarm on the gas detector plays a decisive role. It must be considered that mobile wireless networks and WLAN reception are not always present or may be interrupted. Drager provides some apps for specific features that can be installed on appropriate smartphones or tablets. A license may be required.

Turn on the gas detector.

Call up the quick menu: Press the button 3 times in measurement mode.

Select and confirm Bluetooth connection.

Select gas detector on your smartphone:

a. Gas detector on Android/iOS Bluetooth ® The abbreviation in the menu.

b. You can choose the order number and serial number from the Dr ä ger App. Display a 6-digit number on the smartphone and gas detector.

5. Check if the numerical codes on the two devices are consistent. If they are, confirm on both devices. The connection must be completed within 20 seconds, otherwise the numerical code will become invalid. ✓ The device is connected. Save the successfully completed connection, and in the future, two devices will be automatically connected (which can be set through computer software CCVision). When the connection is interrupted, the gas detector automatically attempts to establish a new connection.
