6. Main functions

6.1 Measurement Function

6.1.1 Measure active and reactive electrical energy and store their data.

6.1.2 Electric energy is calculated, displayed, and stored separately based on the positive and negative active power and total reactive power.

6.1.3 Positive and negative active and non functional electricity, repeated power-off and power on operations do not affect the accuracy of the energy meter;

6.1.4 Indicator lights

When there is a power pulse signal, light up the pulse indicator light (one for active and one for reactive power) for about 80 ± 20ms.


1. Overview

DTS (X) 6111 and DSS (X) 6111 three-phase electronic active and reactive combined energy meters (hereinafter referred to as energy meters) are developed to adapt to the design and renovation of power grids. It has high accuracy and feasibility. This product manufacturing standard complies with all technical requirements for three-phase static energy meters in the power industry standards such as GB/T17215.321-2008 "Level 1 and Level 2 Static AC Active Energy Meters", GB/T17215.323-2008, DL/T614-1997 "Multi functional Energy Meters", DL/T645-1997 "Multi functional Energy Meter Communication Protocol", etc. It is an ideal choice for enterprises, substations or power plants that require reactive power assessment, and is also suitable for use in transmission and distribution or distribution automation. This product can measure three-phase AC active and reactive energy in a 50Hz reference frequency power grid, and can perform forward and reverse energy measurement as well as infrared and RS485 communication functions. Its characteristics are high precision, good reliability, wide load, low power consumption, straight error curve, and strong anti-interference ability.

Working principle of electric energy metering unit

The current of each phase of the measured electrical energy is sampled by a transformer to obtain a voltage signal, which is then amplified by the differential amplifier circuit inside the ATT7026A chip. The amplified signal is converted into a digital signal proportional to it through A/D conversion, and after high pass filtering to remove the DC component in the signal, it enters one input terminal of the digital multiplier. The voltage signal of the measured electrical energy is sampled through resistance voltage division, and then passed through

The differential amplifier circuit inside the ATT7026A chip amplifies the signal, and then converts it into a digital signal proportional to it through A/D conversion. It enters the other input of the digital multiplier and multiplies the signal from the current channel

Calculate and complete the instantaneous power measurement of the measured electrical energy. The instantaneous power output of each phase is integrated through a digital low-pass filter, and then the absolute value is accumulated before entering the 'digital/frequency' converter. The pulses output by the frequency divider circuit are isolated and sent to the CPU unit for processing, recording the total active and reactive power and the active reverse power respectively.

3.2 Working principle of CPU unit

The high-frequency pulses output by the energy metering unit are passed through two optocouplers, one of which is used as a passive pulse output for factory inspection and user verification of the energy meter; Another route is sent to the CPU chip for data processing. Under the instructions of the system (energy meter program), the CPU calculates the active and reactive power values based on the memory and instrument constants in the data storage, and then transfers them to the internal memory. The stored data can be displayed on the LCD or output through infrared and RS485 communication methods.

·Stealth: It has a logic anti creep function. When the voltage circuit is added with a reference voltage of 115% and the current circuit is disconnected, the energy meter does not generate an additional pulse output.
