Overview

The DN65 target lubricating oil flow switch adopts magnetic coupling and conical measuring tube design, which can stably monitor the lubricating oil flow and output switch signals. It is suitable for various industrial lubrication systems and easy to install and adjust parameters.

DN65 target lubricating oil flow switchworking principle

Adopting a conical measuring tube+target plate+magnetic coupling/force sensing design: When lubricating oil flows through, it pushes the target plate to produce displacement. After being balanced by a spring, the signal is transmitted to the indicator and switch unit through magnetic coupling; When the traffic reaches/falls below the preset threshold, the dry spring/micro motion/relay switch is triggered, and an alarm/shutdown interlock signal is output; At the same time, the on-site pointer can intuitively read the flow rate. Especially suitable for lubricating oil working conditions with high viscosity, low flow rate, and small amounts of impurities.

Key points for installation and use

1. Installation method: Priority given to horizontal pipelines; Vertical pipelines must have fluid flow from bottom to top; It is strictly prohibited to install it near the downstream of the pump outlet direct connection section, elbow/tee; The flange gasket needs to be resistant to oil temperature and the bolts should be evenly tightened.

2. Setting and debugging: First calibrate with no load, then gradually increase the pressure/open the valve; The flow switch point can rotate the scale or electrical settings on site, and repeatedly verify the low flow alarm and interlock shutdown.

3. Maintenance: Regularly check the flange for leaks and the target for any sticking or deformation; It is strictly prohibited to disassemble under pressure; If the lubricating oil contains a lot of impurities, a pre filter is needed to protect the target body.

Applicable scenarios

Mainly used for the protection of lubrication systems in large units, such as power plant steam turbine generators, steel mills, refinery compressors, and lubrication oil pipelines for large fans/pumps; The function is low flow/cut-off alarm, interlock shutdown, to prevent bearing oil shortage, dry grinding and burning.

Selection Recommendation

1. Clearly define the viscosity, temperature, and working pressure of the lubricating oil to avoid selecting materials/seals that exceed their tolerance range;

2. Confirm the minimum/maximum flow rate and ensure that the switch point is within 20%~80% of the range (ensuring repeatability);

3. Distinguish between passive contacts/active outputs and match PLC/DCS systems;

4. For harsh working conditions (including particles and large vibrations), 316L material and models with enhanced anti vibration design are preferred.
