Working principle of RF admittance level switch:
Radio frequency admittance is a new level control technology developed from capacitive technology, which is anti hanging, more reliable, accurate, and widely applicable. It is an upgrade of capacitive level technology. The so-called radio frequency admittance refers to the reciprocal of impedance in electricity, which is composed of resistive, capacitive, and inductive components. Radio frequency refers to the spectrum of high-frequency radio waves, so radio frequency admittance can be understood as measuring admittance using high-frequency radio waves. When the instrument is working, the sensor of the instrument forms an admittance value with the tank wall and the measured medium. When the level changes, the admittance value changes accordingly. The circuit unit converts the measured admittance value into a level signal output to achieve level measurement.
The important difference between RF admittance level switch and capacitive technology lies in the diversity of measurement quantities and anti hanging material technology.
The diversity of measurement quantities for RF admittance level switches lies not only in measuring capacitance, but also in measuring the comprehensive quantity of capacitance, resistance, and inductance, making the measurement more comprehensive and accurate.
Anti hanging material technology involves adding a shielding electrode between the measuring electrode and the electrode to protect the measuring electrode from hanging materials. A wire is drawn out from the measurement signal of the circuit unit, amplified by a in-phase amplifier, and its output is connected to the shielding layer of the coaxial cable, and then connected to the shielding layer of the probe. This amplifier is a in-phase amplifier with a gain of "1". The output signal is at the same potential, phase, and frequency as the input signal, but isolated from each other. The ground wire is another independent conductor in the cable. Due to the above-mentioned relationship between the centerline and outer shielding of coaxial cables, there is no potential difference between the two, so no current flows through, that is, no current leaks out from the centerline, which is equivalent to no capacitance or capacitance equal to zero between the two. Therefore, the temperature effect of the cable and the installation of capacitors will not have any impact.
