This technology utilizes the role of catalysts in the chemical treatment process. Our company has developed a composite catalyst, which selectively treats various harmful substances of internal factors under its catalytic action, such as polymerization, shielding, passivation, etc., and finally discharges them in the form of residue. Thus achieving the removal of unstable factors from waste lubricating oil, enabling its reduction and regeneration, and becoming a qualified lubricating base oil.

Factors affecting the quality of lubricating oil
There are non hydrocarbons, olefins, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and metal ions in the recycled waste lubricating oil; Mechanical impurities and tiny metal particles; Harmful substances such as asphaltene and gum. The presence of these harmful substances serves as initiators, reactants, and catalysts for each other. Under the action of external factors such as light, temperature, and oxygen in the air, chemical changes such as polymerization and oxidation occur, and the stability of lubricating oil is disrupted, manifested as blackening, sedimentation, and other phenomena.
Introduction to Recycling Technology for Waste Lubricating Oil
This technology utilizes the role of catalysts in the chemical treatment process. Our company has developed a composite catalyst, which selectively treats various harmful substances of internal factors under its catalytic action, such as polymerization, shielding, passivation, etc., and ultimately discharges them in the form of residue. Thus achieving the removal of unstable factors from waste lubricating oil, enabling its reduction and regeneration, and becoming a qualified lubricating base oil.
This technology is different from both traditional sulfuric acid distillation and current oil distillation catalytic hydrogenation technology. The waste residue and exhaust gas generated by traditional distillation technology cause extremely serious environmental pollution. The oil obtained from the latter is highly prone to oxidation, discoloration, and odor. The process of our company's technology is to catalyze the recycling of various waste lubricating oils (including almost all recyclable waste oils such as gasoline and diesel engine lubricating oils), and then distill them to produce regenerated lubricating base oil that is the same as the original waste lubricating oil. It does not produce oxidation discoloration or odor. The residual waste residue can also be used as fuel and will not cause secondary pollution to the environment. This technology has a high degree of automation control, simple equipment operation, no complex operation control, easy to learn and understand, and does not require a special 1-2 people for labor intensity.
process
After removing mechanical impurities from the raw material waste lubricating oil, it enters the chemical treatment kettle and is added with an aqueous solution of catalyst. The reaction is stirred at room temperature and pressure. The raw materials after catalytic treatment are pumped into an intermittent distillation kettle and distilled under high vacuum conditions. Water, fuel oil, and lubricating base oil of various boiling ranges are distilled in sequence and recovered after cooling by a refrigerator. After Zui, the distillation residue (which can be used as fuel) is discharged. During the distillation process, waste lubricating oil is heated by circulating heating; Heating sources can be electricity, fuel oil, natural gas, coal, etc. Equipped with an exhaust gas processor to purify the vacuum exhaust gas.
The quantities of these components are determined by the composition of the recycled waste lubricating oil. This process does not alter the composition of raw material waste lubricating oil. For example, the composition of recycled waste diesel engine lubricating oil is usually:
| Component name | Content (wt%) |
| water | 1~2 |
| Diesel fuel | 4~8 |
| Lubricating oil (boiling range 400~450 ℃) | 38~42 |
| Lubricating oil (boiling range 450~550 ℃) | 37~43 |
| Sediments | 6~10 |
The products obtained after processing remain basically unchanged, while others such as transformer oil, spindle oil for textile industry, refrigeration machine oil, vacuum pump oil, various rotating machinery lubricating oils, heat transfer oils, etc. are regenerated through this process and basically maintain their original components. But when they are mixed, the composition of the processed product can only be determined by the boiling range of the evaporated lubricating oil. Generally, recycled lubricating oil accounts for over 85% of the raw oil.
FEATURES
1. Widely used for processing oil: suitable for various waste lubricating oils (including almost all recyclable waste oils such as gasoline and diesel engine lubricating oils);
2. There will be no secondary pollution during the processing: this process does not discharge any waste gas or wastewater. The distillation residue obtained during the distillation process can be used as fuel;

In the process of treating waste lubricating oil, more than 95% of harmful substances are removed, and the original base oil and various detergents contained in it are basically not damaged, so its stability, oxidation resistance, emulsification resistance, etc. are better than those of regular base oil. The following table lists the various physical and chemical indicators of a group of treated and regenerated lubricating base oils: (waste internal combustion engine lubricating oil)
